Lace Products Care & Maintenance

Lace products should be washed and conditioned at the same frequency as your weft extensions. However, keep in mind that lace is delicate, so always handle gently and avoid applying excessive tension during washing, styling, or installation.

Our lace products are crafted using a specialized ventilation technique, similar to crochet, to create a natural, undetectable look. The hairline begins with single-knotted strands for a realistic appearance, gradually transitioning to double knots for added durability. With proper care, closures and frontals are designed to last for 1–2 installations.

You may notice short hairs, often called “return hairs,” on lace products. These occur naturally during the knotting process and usually consist of a short strand (about 2–3 inches) on one side of the knot, with the remaining hair extending fully on the opposite side. Coarser textures may show these return hairs more prominently.

To achieve a smooth, polished finish:

  1. Apply a wax stick lightly over the short hairs.

  2. Use a hot comb to gently flatten the lace, creating a seamless and natural-looking installation.

With careful handling and proper maintenance, your lace products will maintain their beauty and integrity for multiple wears.
