Daily Care
Gently brush or comb your extensions each morning and before bed.
Use an alcohol-free glossing polish or serum for shine and frizz control. Avoid using too much product, as buildup can cause stiffness, matting, or tangling.
When you notice product buildup, it’s time for a Co-Wash (cleansing conditioner wash).
Always apply a heat protectant before using any hot tools. Excessive heat styling can alter the hair’s natural pattern and damage its integrity.
Bedtime Care
Before bed, secure your hair in a high ponytail, loose braid, or bun to prevent tangling and help maintain wave patterns.
Wrap your hair in a satin or silk bonnet or scarf to minimize frizz and breakage.
For defined waves, set your hair with flexi-rods overnight.
In the morning, remove your wrap and gently brush from ends to roots using a paddle or detangling brush. Style as desired.
Curly Textures
Curly extensions require additional care and moisture.
Mix leave-in conditioner and water in a spray bottle.
Lightly mist curls and detangle with a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working upward.
Scrunch or twist sections to define curls.
Allow hair to air-dry. Do not comb dry curls to avoid frizz and matting.
At night, part into sections, twist or braid, and cover with a silk scarf or bonnet.
Avoid narrow-tooth combs, frequent brushing, or touching your curls once styled.
Note: Curly textures are high-maintenance and best suited for experienced extension wearers. They require consistent hydration and gentle care, similar to naturally curly hair.
Clarifying Shampoo
Clarifying shampoo helps remove buildup, oils, and impurities that weigh hair down.
Use every two weeks or as needed, depending on your styling habits.
If your shampoo doesn’t lather, buildup is blocking it—rinse, then reapply the clarifying shampoo and let it sit for three minutes before rinsing again.
Follow with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to restore moisture.
If hair feels dry, use clarifying shampoo less often.
If hair feels heavy or coated, it’s time to clarify.Raw, Unprocessed Human Hair
Your Million Dollar Raw Extensions are 100% unprocessed human hair and should be treated like your natural hair.
Shampoo and condition regularly, especially if you use styling products.
Apply a light natural oil before and after washing to keep hair nourished.
Detangle gently from ends to roots using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.
Keep hair damp with a spray bottle while detangling to reduce breakage.
At night, braid or tie back your hair to prevent tangling and shedding.
Properly maintained MD Indian Hair Extensions will remain smooth, soft, and tangle-free for a long time and can be reused multiple times.
